According to the agency, O.S.M., acting as the head of the water management of the Ak-Suu district, illegally rented out a service excavator to private individuals from 2018 to 2025, appropriating the funds received for himself.
As a result of the illegal rental, the excavator generated 625,000 soms, which were never credited to the department's account.
Furthermore, the frequent and unauthorized use of the equipment by third parties led to its complete wear and tear. An expert assessment valued the market price of the excavator at 800,000 soms.
Thus, the total damage caused to the state amounted to over 1 million 425 thousand soms.
