According to the investigation, the detention is connected with the "creation of artificial queues at the checkpoint".
The investigation claims that A. N. O. regularly received money through intermediaries for facilitating the passage of foreign citizens across the border of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, he "provided support to certain individuals engaged in illegal activities at the border".




After the detention, the suspect was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security.
The statement also noted that "active investigative actions are currently underway to identify other officials involved in the crime, as well as efforts are being made to improve conditions for citizens crossing the border."
