On January 31, a citizen named J.A. reported to the First May District Internal Affairs Department about the theft of his bag containing 8,000 soms from the interior of his BMW X5, which was parked on Panfilov Street. Unknown individuals broke into the car and fled with the loot.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational activities, the criminal investigation department was able to identify the suspect — a citizen named A.B. He was detained and taken to the investigative department of the First May District Internal Affairs Department, placed in a temporary detention facility based on Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the police, the detainee may be linked to other similar crimes. Currently, an investigation is underway to check his possible involvement in a series of thefts.
The Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek reminds the residents of the capital not to leave valuables, documents, or money in their cars, even for a short time, as this increases the likelihood of crimes being committed.
