On the same day, the victims were hospitalized; however, they could not be questioned due to the severity of their injuries.
Previously, the woman had not filed any reports of domestic violence, but only on February 5, 2023, did she approach the police claiming that her husband intentionally doused her with gasoline.
As a result, an investigation was initiated, and D. Zh. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been opened under the article "Causing serious harm to health" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
