After the publication of Jeffrey Epstein's archive, not only the names of those he interacted with became known, but also his heirs. Two days before his death, the financier drafted a trust agreement, according to which his main heir was to be Belarusian dentist Karina Shulyak. She was the last person to communicate with him before his death and whom Epstein planned to marry. The document states that she is entitled to tens of millions of dollars; however, it is unknown whether these funds have been deposited into her account, reports "Meduza".

Jeffrey Epstein's body was found in his cell on August 10, 2019, where he was being held on charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. The official cause of death is suicide, although there are theories suggesting murder. Just two days before the tragedy, he signed a 32-page document outlining his heirs.

At the time of his death, Epstein's fortune was estimated at nearly $600 million. However, according to court documents from 2025, this amount has decreased to $127 million. In his will, he allocated $288 million, as well as various real estate properties, according to information from ABC News, which analyzed the document.

Who Inherited Epstein's Funds

Epstein directed that his estate be divided among four dozen beneficiaries, including his brother Mark and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for recruiting minors for Epstein and his associates' sexual needs. Also on the list were people who worked for him, such as his personal pilot Larry Visoski. The names of some recipients of the funds remain confidential.

According to the terms of the trust agreement, Ghislaine Maxwell and Mark Epstein each received $10 million. The executors of the will, accountant Richard Kahn and attorney Darren Indyke, were allocated $25 million and $50 million, respectively. The main heir, however, was Karina Shulyak, who, as stated in the agreement, was to receive $100 million, 48 diamonds, and a diamond ring belonging to Epstein, as well as his real estate, including apartments in Paris and New York, a ranch in New Mexico, and the private island Little Saint James, where his parties took place.

As of now, more than six years after Epstein's death, Karina Shulyak is reportedly living in New York. It is unclear whether she has received her inheritance, and if so, to what extent. The New York Times reports that Epstein's fortune has likely diminished due to tax payments and compensation to victims. Attorney Daniel Weiner, representing the executors of the will Richard Kahn and Darren Indyke, stated that the beneficiaries will not receive any payments until all estate claims are satisfied, including compensation for Epstein's victims. According to him, Kahn and Indyke have already been paid $170 million.
