In the Chui region, law enforcement officers detained two young men on suspicion of participating in a knife fight.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, the incident occurred on February 14, 2026, around 00:30. Three men, being in a state of intoxication, arrived from Bishkek to the village of Petrovka. On Frunze Street, they encountered a citizen A.E. and his friends, which led to a verbal conflict and then to physical violence. One of the participants, T.M., during the fight, inflicted a stab wound on A.E., after which all participants of the conflict fled in a Honda car.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under Article 280, which pertains to hooliganism.
The police detained the suspects T.M. and T.J., both born in 2003. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, forensic examinations are being conducted, and investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
