He calls for the construction company's license to be revoked. “I appeal to President Sadyr Japarov, as the guarantor of the Constitution, to stop this lawlessness! If the company Central Asia Invest is unable to even install a fence safely, how can they be trusted to build a 12-story building?” he says.
The incident happened on Kuyukov Street, 10, at a time when people were sleeping inside. According to an eyewitness, this could have led to tragic consequences. “Heavy metal structures and concrete blocks collapsed onto the residential house. The roof was crushed, and the fence was destroyed. Both adults and children could have been trapped in the rubble. Little ones were playing nearby. It is especially frightening that a gas pipe could have been damaged,” he adds.
Moreover, he emphasized that according to the General Plan, construction of buildings taller than three stories is not permitted in this area.
“Nevertheless, contrary to the legislation, the construction of 12-14 story buildings is being carried out close to residential buildings, putting people under constant threat. Where is the oversight? Why is the Ministry of Construction ignoring what is happening?” he poses a rhetorical question.
