According to the agency's information, on March 9, during the monitoring of social networks, an account under the name "Daniil Zhooshbaev" was discovered on Facebook. This account was used to disseminate publications aimed at discrediting the state authorities of Kyrgyzstan and worsening the socio-political situation in the country.
Additionally, some comments on these publications contained messages that could contribute to destabilizing the situation and provoke mass riots.
In connection with this fact, the investigative bodies of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning calls for mass riots.
During operational activities, MIA employees, together with the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), established that the fake account belonged to a journalist born in 1976 with the initials A.A. She has been detained.
It is clarified that the detained individual is Altynai Arstanbekova.
On March 10, a search was conducted at her home, during which MIA employees seized mobile phones, tablets, laptops, video cameras, documents, and other items related to the investigation.
On March 11, the suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility at the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek. Currently, necessary examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
