A suspect in illegal drug trafficking has been detained
On February 28, law enforcement agencies of the Alamudun district received information about the discovery of a narcotic substance in the village of Arashan, reported the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
As a result of the check, a 15-year-old teenager named R.A. was detained, who had a package containing psychotropic substances, divided into 20 shrink-wrapped bundles. The total weight of the seized items was 35 grams.
Expert examination confirmed that the package contained 4-SMS (chloromethcathinone, clephedrone), which is classified as a prohibited psychotropic substance.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the investigation, A.T., residing in Naryn, purchased the psychotropic substance online for 26,430 soms.
After making the payment, he was sent the coordinates and information about the location of the "stash" in the village of Arashan.
Under the pretext of buying a ring for his girlfriend, A.T. asked his cousin R.A. to go to Bishkek, without revealing to her the true purpose of the trip. R.A. agreed and headed to the specified village, where she was detained by law enforcement agencies.
As a result, A.T. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
