According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital, their Drug Control Service received information that certain individuals were engaged in the sale of synthetic drugs in the Pervomaisky district through hidden stashes.
During operational activities as part of the preventive operation "Den" (Den of vice), facts of stash placements were discovered. The detainees turned out to be A. B., born in 2006, and A. T., born in 2007. They were found with 50 packets of synthetic drugs that were ready for sale.
The investigation established that they received the narcotic substances through one of the Telegram channels, after which they engaged in packaging and placing them in stash spots throughout the city.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities using a service search dog, a search was conducted in one of the detainees' homes. As a result, electronic scales, packaging materials, tape, shrink tubes, gloves, masks, and other items that could be used for drug packaging were found and seized.
The detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Investigative actions are ongoing.
The Main Department of Internal Affairs also urged parents to pay attention to their children, inquire about their surroundings and sources of income, as youth are increasingly being drawn into the illegal drug trade through the internet under the pretext of quick earnings.
