The GTS warned about fake news regarding the sale of goods from customs warehouses.
It has become known that a video has appeared on social media, allegedly claiming to be from the service regarding the sale of goods. However, the Customs Service clarified that this message is a fabrication.
The agency assured that it does not sell goods to individuals or legal entities either from temporary storage warehouses or from other facilities in its infrastructure.
Furthermore, the Customs Service indicated that the video material, which sparked the rumors, was created using artificial intelligence technologies and has no relation to the activities of the customs authorities.
The service also noted that counterfeit documents styled as official forms are being circulated on the internet. These documents mention non-existent "unreleased amounts," "customs fees," and "processing through a customs broker." The Customs Service emphasized that such papers have no legal force and are not used in their operations.
The agency believes that such materials are intended to mislead citizens and obtain illegal benefits.
The State Customs Service urged citizens to remain vigilant, not to believe such rumors, and to avoid interacting with dubious channels and groups in messaging apps. Official information about the activities of the customs authorities is available only on the official resources of the service.
