It became known that a signal was received at number 102 indicating that the driver of a Hyundai Palisade was consuming alcoholic beverages at the intersection of Akhunbaeva and 7 April streets, near the Globus hypermarket.
Patrol officers immediately arrived at the scene and confirmed the received information. Additionally, video surveillance analysis showed that the man was behind the wheel in an intoxicated state.
During the investigation, the driver refused to comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement officers and did not hand over the keys to the vehicle. As a result, the car had to be towed to a impound lot.
A report was drawn up against the offender. The crime prevention department reminded that driving under the influence poses a serious danger to public safety.
