
A man suspected of committing large-scale fraud has been arrested in the Chui region, as reported by the press center of the regional police department. His identity was established after a citizen born in 1971 contacted the police on November 21, 2025.
According to the complainant, on September 30, he became a victim of a fraudulent scheme when an unknown person approached him near the RIOM car market in the village of Voenno-Antonovka, introducing himself as M. He offered to transport 65 horses from Kazakhstan through the "Ak-Zhol" checkpoint, with a total value of 7 million 20 thousand soms. As a result, the fraudster received 2 million tenge and the animals themselves, after which he disappeared.
In connection with the incident, criminal proceedings have been initiated by the investigative authorities under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Fraud).
As a result of operational actions by the police, the suspect, K.M., born in 1984, was identified, detained, and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
