According to their data, as a result of operational activities organized by the service for combating extremism and illegal migration of the Kara-Suu District Department of Internal Affairs, a citizen was identified who was distributing extremist materials through social networks.
According to the conclusions of the forensic linguistic examination, the suspect used his personal page on social networks for the open distribution of materials related to the extremist-terrorist organization "ISIS," whose activities are banned on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Based on the collected evidence and the results of the examination, a criminal case was initiated under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, which concerns "the production and distribution of extremist materials." Currently, operational investigative actions are being carried out.
During the activities to locate the suspect, H. uulu R., born in 2002, was detained. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this case.
