Judoist from Kyrgyzstan Wins Bronze Medal at European Cup

Adis Orozmanatov, representing Kyrgyzstan, won a bronze medal at the European Cup, according to information provided by the judo federation.

The competition took place on February 7-8 in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the open European Cup, which featured 31 judokas in the under 66-kilogram weight category.

At the start of the tournament, Orozmanatov began in the round of 16, where he achieved victory over Peter Weiss from Slovakia, and then defeated Kana Emirhan Esenboga from Turkey in the quarterfinals.

Although the athlete lost to David Zeynalov from Russia in the quarterfinals, he did not give up and continued to compete in the consolation tournament for the bronze medal. As a result, Orozmanatov defeated opponents such as Alex Milosevic from Serbia, Roko Rozga from Croatia, and Jakub Kurowski from Poland, allowing him to secure third place.
