
On January 29, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will travel to Turkey on an official visit, as reported by the president's press service.
During the trip to Ankara, the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council is scheduled to take place, which will be chaired by the heads of state.
The meeting will discuss strengthening Uzbek-Turkish strategic partnership, with an emphasis on developing political dialogue, increasing trade turnover, as well as implementing joint projects in key sectors of the economy, including improving transport connectivity. In addition, issues of cultural and humanitarian exchange are expected to be discussed.
The presidents will also address current international and regional topics.
At the conclusion of the high-level negotiations, a significant number of documents are expected to be signed.
The leaders of the two countries will also participate in a number of events aimed at humanitarian initiatives.
