Humanitarian aid from Tajikistan delivered to the population of Gaza

Humanitarian aid provided by the government of Tajikistan and its people was sent to the residents of Gaza on February 8.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, on the evening of that day, a convoy of six trucks loaded with food, warm clothing, tents, and waterproof film set off for Gaza.
As reported by the ministry, the trucks crossed the Rafah checkpoint at the border between Egypt and Palestine in the presence of the Tajik ambassador to Egypt and representatives of charitable organizations from the country.
Tajikistan has been providing continuous humanitarian and financial assistance to the population of Gaza since the first days of the conflict, as emphasized in the ministry's statement.
At a press conference on February 6, Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin confirmed that humanitarian aid had been sent to Gaza.
He also reminded that in January 2025, Tajikistan, together with other states, had already sent 200 tons of wheat flour for the residents of Gaza.
The minister added that Tajikistan's position on the situation in Gaza remains unchanged, emphasizing that the country consistently supports a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
