According to Zelensky, Ukraine is actively negotiating with international partners, including members of the U.S. Congress and business representatives.
He noted that the duration of the guarantees is critically important not only for the defense of the country but also for the recovery of the economy.
“We are closely cooperating with our partners on security issues. During a recent meeting with senators, we expressed our desire to extend the duration of the guarantees to make them more attractive to investors,” the president stated.
Zelensky added that businesses need long-term guarantees that go beyond 5-10 years.
“Today we discussed with investors and business representatives, and they need guarantees that exceed five or ten years,” he emphasized.
