According to agency data, the company Skyhub Technologies, registered in Bangkok, acts as one of the main intermediaries in supplies. Although it is formally registered as a car rental company, it purchases drones from the Chinese manufacturer Autel Robotics and ships them to Russia.

Since the onset of the full-scale war, there has been a sharp increase in drone supplies from Thailand to Russia. Customs documents indicate that Skyhub Technologies ranks second among suppliers in this segment.

It is also worth mentioning the company China Thai Corp, which purchased drones worth $144 million in China during the first 11 months of 2025. In the same year, it was included in the UK sanctions list for supplying military technologies to Russia.

From January to November 2025, Russia imported drones from Thailand worth $125 million, accounting for 88% of the total drone exports from this country. Meanwhile, China supplied drones to Thailand worth $186 million during the same period.

For comparison, in 2022, Thailand imported drones worth less than $1 million, and none of these supplies were directed to Russia.

The Director General of the Thai Customs Department, Phantong Loikulantha, stated that the export of Chinese drones is carried out in accordance with current legislation. At the same time, the Ministry of Commerce is reviewing the situation and does not rule out the possibility of tightening export controls.
