The question is under consideration by the Ministry of Education.
On its official website, Minister of Education Naranbayar Purevsuren published information that the ministry is developing a draft law aimed at restricting children's use of social networks, citing growing evidence of their negative impact on youth, as reported by MiddleAsianNews.

The minister also mentioned examples from countries such as Australia, France, South Korea, and Spain, where restrictions have been placed on access to social networks for individuals under 16 years of age or similar measures have been adopted.
According to him, Mongolia intends to actively involve parents, educators, social platform operators, and child rights experts in creating a draft law that will be implemented in practice.
