
According to the television channel, hundreds of injured people were taken to medical facilities in Islamabad. Additionally, Afghan forces attacked a military center located in the Kokal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Hostilities began on February 26, when Afghanistan announced the start of an offensive operation in the border areas of Pakistan. In response, the Pakistani military struck an ammunition depot in Afghanistan and then attacked the capital of the country — Kabul. On the morning of the current day, the Afghan Ministry of Defense reported the completion of its operation in Pakistan; however, throughout the day, hostilities resumed.
The Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Emirate clarified that their aviation carried out strikes on a military camp in Nowshera, located near Islamabad. These actions were justified as a response to the attacks by the Pakistani military on Kabul and other targets in Kandahar province.
