
On the night of March 4, citizens of the republic evacuated from Middle Eastern countries returned to Kazakhstan, as reported by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
An Air Astana aircraft, which took off from Medina, landed in Aktau at 21:28 with 142 passengers on board. Additionally, three flights arrived in Atyrau from Medina and Jeddah, carrying 145, 174, and 179 people respectively.
Furthermore, the airline Scat operates a flight from Almaty to Muscat and back on a Boeing 767, which can accommodate about 290 passengers.
To date, 946 people have been returned to Kazakhstan.
On February 28, Israel and the USA struck targets in Iran, which responded with missile attacks on six countries, including the UAE and Qatar. As a result, Dubai Airport and one of the five-star hotels were affected.
The Kazakh aviation administration has imposed a complete ban on flights over, within, and near the airspace of Iran, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. On March 3, the first planes from Dubai arrived in Astana and Almaty after the resumption of flights.
