On Wednesday, the Thai PBS channel reported a tragedy that occurred in Nakhon Ratchasima province, where 22 people died as a result of a collision between a passenger train and a construction crane that fell onto the tracks. The incident happened in the morning when the train, traveling from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani, collided with the crane at a site where construction was underway for an elevated railway line in the Sikhiu area. As a result of the accident, there was a derailment and a fire broke out in several carriages. According to the newspaper "Khaosot," at least four people were killed, and another 40 were injured.
According to the channel, the current death toll from this horrific incident has reached 22 people.
