The export was carried out within 1,475 trips, exceeding the previous record by 11,236 tons. Of the total volume, 1,241 cargo batches weighing 168,712 tons were processed through the Gashuunsukhait customs point, while 234 batches, amounting to 31,729 tons, were processed through Khangi.
Of this volume, 106,879 tons were supplied through the Mongolian Coal Exchange, which became a record figure for a single day since the beginning of 2023, when coal exports from the exchange started. This success demonstrates that the logistics of coal export from Mongolia and customs procedures have reached a new level due to the simultaneous growth of spot and long-term contract volumes.
