As of January 13, 2026, there are 189,416 thousand tons of coal in the warehouse of the CHPP in Bishkek, as reported by the city hall.
The city hall emphasized that to prepare for the heating season of 2025-2026, the supply of 1,400,000 tons of coal is planned, which will be used for the generation of thermal and electrical energy. Coal deliveries will be carried out according to the schedule until the end of the heating season.
According to municipal information, as of January 13, 2026, the average capacity of the CHPP is 460 MW, with a heat output of 8,694 thousand Gcal and electricity generation of 11,034 thousand kWh. Daily fuel needs are: coal — 7,470 thousand tons and gas — 390 thousand nm3.
There are 15 boiler units, 7 turbo units with cross connections, and 2 power blocks (No. 3 and 4) installed at the CHPP. Currently, in operation are: 10 boiler units, 5 turbo units with cross connections, as well as blocks No. 3 and 4. Under repair are 1 boiler unit and 1 turbo unit, with 4 boiler units and 1 turbo unit in reserve.
