In Spain, 21 people died after the collision of two trains

The incident occurred due to the collision of the Iryo train, which was traveling from Malaga to Madrid. It derailed and moved onto an adjacent track, where it came into contact with a train heading to Huelva. The causes of this incident have not yet been determined. According to Spanish media, there were about 400 passengers on both trains.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that he is monitoring the developments. The royal family also expressed their condolences regarding the incident.

According to Reuters, search operations are ongoing at the scene, involving rescuers who are trying to find survivors among the passengers. They noted that they cannot yet determine the number of survivors in the cars that sustained the most damage in the collision.

The head of the municipality of Adamus, where this tragic event occurred, was one of the first to arrive at the scene. He told the newspaper El Pais in an interview: "I saw a passenger who was mutilated beyond recognition."
