Her friend was hospitalized
A tragic incident occurred in Malta, resulting in the death of a 48-year-old woman from Kyrgyzstan in St. George's Bay. This was reported by local media.
According to available information, the incident involved two women while swimming. Bystanders provided assistance and pulled them from the water.
Medical personnel and representatives of the civil protection service arrived at the scene. The women were taken to a medical facility; however, one of them unfortunately passed away. The second woman, aged 23, is currently in stable condition.
At the moment, the police are investigating the incident.
