We are pleased to officially present the ceremonial and everyday uniforms that the Mongolian team will wear at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina, — reports MiddleAsianNews.

Designers and tailors from Goyol Cashmere have created the clothing for the athletes.

This collection not only combines traditional elements with modern style; it offers a renewed perception of ancient Mongolian clothing, which is an important part of our cultural history, and aims to share it with the world.

Inspired by the clothing of the Great Mongol Empire of the 13th–15th centuries, the designs retain key traditional features: functional slits on the deel that provide freedom of movement, high collars for protection against the cold, and fully closed fronts symbolizing warmth and unity. Exquisite Mongolian cashmere is trimmed with silk edging embroidered with traditional horn-ugalz motifs, giving the clothing an elegant ceremonial appearance.

Using Mongolian cashmere, traditionally used by nomadic peoples for protection against the cold, the designers created both ceremonial deels and everyday outfits, including ski sweaters inspired by Western culture and elements reflecting the nomadic lifestyle.

With these unique designs, the Mongolian team proudly represents its resilience, wisdom, and spirit on the world stage, forged over millennia in the harsh winters of Central Asia.
