In the last 24 hours, the National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID) recorded 22 new cases of measles, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 13,989.
In its statement, the organization also noted that 56 patients remain in medical facilities, among whom five children are in serious condition.
As of December 30, the number of fatalities from measles in Mongolia has risen to 12, following a new death related to this disease.
In this regard, the NCID strongly urged parents to vaccinate their children, ensuring they receive two doses of the measles vaccine to protect against this dangerous virus.
