He noted that recently the State Committee for National Security discovered one such center where citizens were allegedly being treated for alcohol and drug addiction.
“Parents sent their children there, suffering from addiction, but instead of help, this center used narcotic substances and employed violence,” he added.
Furthermore, Omurzakov pointed out the possibility of cases that led to fatalities. He urged the government to take control of the situation and instructed the Ministry of Health to inspect all rehabilitation facilities to identify similar fraudulent centers.
