With over 60 years of experience as a surgeon, he served in Alaykuu and worked at the central hospital of the Kara-Kulja district.
For many years, he held the position of head of the Veterans Council of this district.
From 1995 to 1997, Ibraimov headed the Uzgen District Hospital as the chief physician.
He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
Seytakun Ibraimovich raised nine children, among whom are scholars, educators, doctors, and candidates of sciences.
His younger brothers are Osmonakun Ibraimov, currently an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Abyt Ibraimov, who has served twice as a deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh and is a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
