The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic revealed the formula for the ideal diet for livestock

Experts emphasize that balanced nutrition for livestock has a direct impact on milk yield and meat quality, providing animals with all the necessary nutrients. The main components of the diet include roughage such as hay, straw, and silage, which are the primary sources of fiber and vitamins. Additionally, succulent feeds, including pasture grasses and silage, are added to meet the needs for proteins and coarse fibers.

Concentrates, such as grains, meal, and bran, play an important role in intensive animal husbandry, providing carbohydrates and protein. Animal-derived feeds, including fish meal and meat-and-bone meal, also contribute to the diet's amino acids and minerals. Specialists warn that a lack of protein can lead to a decrease in the mass and productivity of animals, while vitamin supplements and silage are necessary to maintain good immunity and proper digestion.

The Ministry of Agriculture urges farmers and agricultural producers in the country to remember the importance of a competent combination of all four types of feed. This not only contributes to improving livestock health but also enhances the competitiveness of the final products. Investments in quality nutrition today can lay the foundation for stable income and successful development of agricultural enterprises in the future.
