The Antimonopoly Service returned over 250 million soms to the state budget for violations since 2020

- From 2020 to 2025, the Antimonopoly Service was able to return over 250 million soms to the state budget by identifying various violations of legislation. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Muratbek Imankulov, in an interview on the radio.

He noted that in cases related to advertising, 78.8 million soms were collected. In the area of consumer rights protection, more than 700 appeals were received, and as a result of their consideration, over 5 million soms were returned to citizens.

In addition, more than 5,000 monitoring activities were conducted in the services sector, leading to fines totaling over 200,000 soms for identified violations.

The Deputy Chairman of the service also added that after the introduction of temporary state price regulation on meat, the total amount of fines exceeded 600,000 soms. Regarding coal, after the establishment of price limits, fines ranged from 300,000 to 400,000 soms.
