- Kyrgyzstan, in collaboration with the Eurasian Economic Commission and Russian authorities, has agreed on a new model for the supply of goods through electronic trading platforms to Russia. This was announced on February 3 at a press conference where the head of the EAEU Coordination Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanybek uulu Elimbek, spoke.

According to Elimbek, the initiative was proposed in December when difficulties arose with supplies through electronic platforms to Russia. Over the past month and a half, the Kyrgyz side has actively interacted with the Eurasian Economic Commission, Russian organizations, and businesses, holding about six joint meetings.

“We have reached a mutual understanding and approved changes to the model for supplies through electronic trading platforms. The authorized bodies of the Russian Federation, including the Federal Tax Service and the Federal Customs Service, as well as the Wildberries platform, have confirmed our work,” noted Kanybek uulu Elimbek.

He also reported that explanatory events and seminars for entrepreneurs are planned in the coming days.

“Some changes pertained to accompanying documents for goods, and we will demonstrate to businesspeople how to properly fill them out. After the seminars, supplies of goods through electronic platforms should begin shortly,” added the head of the department.
