- In February, the Jogorku Kenesh will consider a draft law regarding amendments to the KR law "On Pricing," according to information posted on the parliament's website.

These amendments were prepared by the Ministry of Economy.

In the ministry's explanation, it is stated that the current version of the law prohibits state regulation of prices for services, except for natural monopolies, state services, and the disposal of solid household waste.

According to the Ministry of Economy, this prohibition "does not allow for measures to curb the growth of tariffs for work and services." In this regard, its repeal is proposed.

The Antimonopoly Regulation Service is responsible for implementing pricing policy in various sectors of the economy, except for the fuel and energy complex.
