In the coming years, the United States plans to increase its economic influence in Central Asia. This was announced by the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, during the B5+1 forum held in Bishkek.

He emphasized that after Donald Trump came to power, this region once again became one of the priorities of U.S. foreign economic policy. "The main means of cooperation will be the private sector, not intergovernmental agreements," he added.

Among the key areas of interaction are e-commerce, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, agriculture, and the development of transport infrastructure. According to Gor, the U.S. government intends to support American companies operating in this region to minimize investment risks.
