Investments from Gulf countries in the Eurasian region have reached $23.9 billion, - EDB

- According to information presented in the EDB report (2026), investments from Gulf countries in the Eurasian region are demonstrating rapid growth.

In the first half of 2025, they reached $23.9 billion, which is 60% more compared to 2023 and 3.2 times higher than the figures from 2016.

Since 2016, the number of active projects involving investors from Gulf countries has increased to 55. In the first six months of 2025, 10 new projects were initiated, with a total value of about $1 billion, while upon full implementation of these initiatives, total investments will exceed $6.5 billion.

The most active investors are: the United Arab Emirates — 68% ($16.1 billion), Saudi Arabia — 18% ($4.2 billion), Qatar — 10% ($2.4 billion), and Oman — 5% ($1.1 billion).

In the EDB report, Gulf countries include Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
