New support measures for the private sector of preschool education are being launched in Uzbekistan. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that entrepreneurs who establish kindergartens on vacant land plots of state institutions and schools will be exempt from rent for a period of 30 years. This measure is especially important for regions where the coverage of children in preschool education remains low.
In addition, the government will cover half of the costs for each child and will subsidize the salaries of educators for three years. To support business development, entrepreneurs will be able to take advantage of preferential loans of up to 5 billion sums, and the reduced social tax rate will remain in effect until 2030.
Alongside these measures, changes will occur in the education system: preschool preparation will become mandatory, and private kindergartens will be granted the right to issue state certificates. To enhance the qualifications of educators, opportunities for obtaining higher education through a dual system will be offered, allowing them to combine study and work. Additionally, the launch of a network of innovative kindergartens "Yangi avlod" is planned, where employees will receive increased allowances.
