- The export of livestock products from Kyrgyzstan to the EAEU countries is possible only for those enterprises that are included in the Union's register and comply with veterinary standards. To date, more than 400 companies have been included in this register. This was reported by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department of the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, on the radio.

According to Tabaldiev, among the registered producers are companies engaged in the production of dairy and meat products, honey, fish, and other animal products. The main export goods include milk, honey, sausages, and fish, and in 2024, a significant increase in the export of chicken eggs is expected, which will exceed 12 million pieces.

The head of the department noted that all enterprises included in the register strictly adhere to the EAEU requirements, including obtaining veterinary certificates and laboratory control over the products. There are 19 veterinary laboratories operating in Kyrgyzstan, of which only two are accredited to international standards.

Tabaldiev added that both the import and export of products are under strict control: goods without confirmation of safety and the necessary certificates of the Customs Union are not allowed on the market. In case of violations, such products are subject to disposal or return.
