The project is being implemented by the State Institution "AgroSmart". The main goal of the initiative is to enhance the effectiveness of monitoring the epizootic situation, ensure a rapid response to threats of spreading dangerous animal diseases, and promote digitalization in the veterinary sector of the country.
GIS "SUMO" is a modern web application that serves as a single tool for visualizing, accounting, monitoring, and analyzing data on the veterinary and sanitary condition of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The project includes the following key elements:
- development of an interactive map displaying anthrax hotspots, sites for the disposal of biological waste, and veterinary infrastructure;
- implementation of a system for accounting veterinary and sanitary activities;
- creation of a centralized database for analytical needs, reporting, and management decision-making;
- automatic notification of responsible authorities about new disease outbreaks;
- integration with existing state information systems of Kyrgyzstan.
