The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan announces the launch of a project to create a geographic information system for accounting and monitoring outbreaks of anthrax — GIS "SUMO".

The project is being implemented by the State Institution "AgroSmart". The main goal of the initiative is to enhance the effectiveness of monitoring the epizootic situation, ensure a rapid response to threats of spreading dangerous animal diseases, and promote digitalization in the veterinary sector of the country.

GIS "SUMO" is a modern web application that serves as a single tool for visualizing, accounting, monitoring, and analyzing data on the veterinary and sanitary condition of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The project includes the following key elements:
