The pilot project will start with the first test run, in which a convoy of ten trucks will depart from Uzbekistan to Tajikistan and then to China. The transport ministers of both countries have decided to launch the new route and agreed to transition to an electronic format for issuing permits for international freight transportation.

In addition, the parties plan to increase the capacity of the "Jartepa — Sarazm" border crossing. A logistics center will be built here, capable of processing up to 100 trucks daily and speeding up the documentation process.
