- At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, 2026, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov raised the issue of the difficulties faced by farmers in the Talas region affected by natural disasters.

According to the parliamentarian, natural disasters have impacted about 800 hectares of bean and wheat crops, resulting in total damages amounting to 55 million soms.

“Farmers need assistance, but it has not yet been provided. As a result, they are unable to repay their loans and other financial obligations,” noted Jumabekov.

Additionally, the deputy pointed out the ongoing decline in purchase prices for beans, which exacerbates the situation for agricultural producers in the region.

As one of the solutions, he suggested considering the possibility of opening a new market for beans in India, where, in his opinion, the products could be sold at favorable prices. However, this requires the appropriate documentation and certification.

Dastan Jumabekov appealed to the government for assistance through the Kyrgyz Embassy in India to simplify the export process and address documentation-related issues.
