The deputy is seeking support from the government regarding the documentation for export.
At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov raised an important issue regarding the possibility of exporting beans from the Talas region to India, appealing for support from Almasbek Abytov, the representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers in parliament.
He pointed out that bean prices in the country remain stable, which negatively affects the incomes of local farmers. At the same time, entrepreneurs report a high demand for beans in India and favorable prices. The main obstacle to export remains the documentary formalities: phytosanitary certificates issued in Kyrgyzstan are not accepted in India.
Jumabekov emphasized that there are economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and India, and this problem can be resolved through the appropriate government agencies, the embassy, or through direct negotiations.
