A deputy initiates a check on the impact on ecology and public health
At a plenary meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Gulai Mashrapova raised an important issue regarding the operation of an asphalt concrete plant in the Kara-Suu district.
As the deputy noted, the plant, owned by the company "Vega Stroy," was built in 2025 in the Manas rural area, just 300 meters from the village of Besh-Moynok. Since its launch, local residents have reported problems related to smoke being directed towards the settlement, causing inconvenience for people.
She also mentioned that on December 20, the plant suspended its operations due to unfavorable weather conditions; however, with the onset of warmer weather, plans are in place to resume activities.
In light of the above, Gulai Mashrapova appealed to Almasbek Abytov, the representative of the president and the Cabinet of Ministers in parliament, requesting the establishment of a special commission to assess the plant's impact on the ecological situation and the health of local residents, as well as to take this issue under personal control.
