Kazakhstan is launching a new electronic queue system at two checkpoints on the border with Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Committee of State Revenues of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The CarGoRuqsat system is expected to start functioning on January 30 at the "Kegen" checkpoint, and on February 16 at the "Kordai" checkpoint.

This initiative aims to digitize processes at road border crossing points, which should facilitate faster border crossing and reduce administrative barriers for freight carriers.

The CarGoRuqsat system has already been implemented at the borders with China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan, and will gradually be extended to the entire perimeter of the border.

Carriers will now be able to plan their border crossing times in advance thanks to the ability to book a queue, which will help avoid congestion and increase the transparency of procedures, as noted in the agency's statement.

The system is integrated with 18 different information resources of state bodies, allowing carriers to obtain information about possible fines, debts, and necessary permits before arriving at the checkpoint.

Access to the CarGoRuqsat system is available both through a mobile application and a web version, where users can specify the crossing point, date and time of passage, as well as information about the driver and the vehicle.
