Goods sent by Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are being delayed at the Russian border.
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov reported numerous appeals from entrepreneurs who face problems crossing the border into Russia on a daily basis.
According to him, goods from Kyrgyz entrepreneurs are not passing through customs control, leading to a backlog of cargo at customs worth millions of dollars.
“Millions of dollars are frozen here at the border. I appeal to you, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, to conduct an official trip to the Russian Federation. It is important to meet with the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko to resolve this issue. This is the parliament's duty,” said Jumabekov.
The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu responded that he has already received official invitations from the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and from Valentina Matviyenko.
He also mentioned that he plans to visit Russia in the third decade of March, where he intends to raise the issue of exporting Kyrgyz goods during the negotiations.
