Deputy Minister of Transport Beknazar Bazaraliyev reported that major repairs are planned for 120 km of the road. He noted that the actual work began at the 8th kilometer, making the length of the section to be repaired equal to 112 km. "About 77–80 km still need to be repaired. We have contracts with two contracting organizations. We plan to complete the laying of the first layer of asphalt by 2026," he added.
In addition, the deputy asked about the condition of the Bayetov — Kosh-Dobo road. The Deputy Minister explained that this is a gravel road, which is also included in the work plans. "Currently, we are analyzing whether the state enterprise can handle the work. If not, we will involve private contracting companies," he noted.
