- During the meeting, Deputy Zhanibek Abirov inquired about how many residential areas received gas supply in 2025.

In response, the acting deputy general director for economics and finance of "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan," Arzymat Aldayev, reported that gasification had been completed in several residential districts of Bishkek and the Chui region.

According to him, in 2025, gas was supplied to the areas of Bakai-Ata, Tokoldosh, and the village of Novopavlovka. Additionally, work also began in the village of Novopokrovka.

Deputy Zhanibek Abirov clarified whether gasification included the Lenin district, as the mentioned areas are mainly located in the Sverdlovsk district.

In response, Aldayev stated that the completion of gasification in Novopokrovka is scheduled for this year. If additional financial resources are available, the company will be ready to start work in the Ak-Bosogo residential area.

The company also announced plans for 2026, when design work will be completed in the following areas:

• Archa-Beshik (69 ha);

• Selection (second phase);

• the village of Orok;

• the village of Jal;

• residential area Sarban.

However, construction work on these sites will not begin before 2027.

A company representative noted that the main problem remains the limited capacity of the gas infrastructure. The main gas pipeline running through the Chui region near the village of Manas is located a significant distance from the southern districts of the capital.

“Currently, gas supply to Bishkek is carried out through 3 gas distribution stations: GRS-1, GRS-2, and GRS 'Malovodnoe,' located in the Sokuluk district. The capacity of the latter is about 10,000 cubic meters of gas per hour, which is insufficient for network expansion. In 2026, reconstruction of GRS 'Malovodnoe' is planned. The total cost of the project will be almost 2 billion soms, and the implementation period will be 2 years.

After modernization, it is expected that the station's capacity will be increased to 80-90 thousand cubic meters of gas per hour. This will create opportunities for gasification of the southwestern part of the city, as well as connecting new residential areas, the CHPP, and the under-construction central stadium,” Aldayev added.
