At a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister and the head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the results of two key reforms were summarized.
“Entrepreneurs and logistics companies have faced a serious problem for many years – the lack of a data exchange system between the Kyrgyz Republic and partner states of the EAEU. This concerned both transport control and permit documents. As a result, Kyrgyz carriers were forced to provide documentation in paper form at the borders, which caused significant delays,” noted Kasymaliev.
In just one hundred days, it was possible to update and integrate the information exchange, which significantly simplified the transport control process. The electronic data exchange on control results and permit documents allowed for the automation of processes and improved interaction between agencies. The information systems of the relevant state authorities were also refined, and electronic issuance of permits for cabotage transportation was implemented. These measures have significantly reduced the time required to cross the border and decreased the number of administrative barriers,” the Cabinet added.
