- According to information presented on February 16 at a press conference by the head of the foreign trade statistics department of the National Statistics Committee, Gulsara Sulaymanova, the volume of Kyrgyzstan's foreign mutual trade for 2025 reached $15.8 billion, which is a decrease of 10.2% compared to the previous year.

Export deliveries amounted to only $2.8 billion, indicating a reduction of 44.5%. This decline occurred due to a decrease in supply volumes both to CIS countries (by 22%) and to non-CIS states (by 59.5%).

Imports, on the other hand, increased by 3.9% and totaled nearly $13 billion. This growth was driven by an increase in supplies from CIS countries by 23.8%. In the structure of foreign economic activity, the share of exports was 18%, while imports accounted for 82%.

According to preliminary data, the volume of mutual trade with EAEU member states in 2025 amounted to almost $5.9 billion, an increase of 7.7% compared to 2024. Exports to these countries exceeded $1.1 billion, but decreased by 31.9%. Conversely, imports from the EAEU grew by 25.2% and amounted to $4.8 billion.

The volume of foreign trade with third countries outside the EAEU was $9.9 billion, which also represents a decrease of 18.4% compared to last year.

As for the main partner countries for Kyrgyzstan in exports, they include Russia (22.9% of total export volume), Kazakhstan (15.9%), Switzerland (15.4%), Uzbekistan (14.2%), the United Kingdom (8.2%), China (5.4%), the United Arab Emirates (4.3%), and Turkey (2.7%).
